What: 4th Annual Darlington Derby is a 5k run/walk to benefit The American Cancer Society, Relay for Life which supports funding for research and patient services & prevention detection programs.
When: June 4th, 2010 at 8:00 am.
Please arrive no later than 7:30 am to allow ample time to park, pick up packet, and board a bus to the start line.
Where:
Finish: Jack’s Independent Service, Inc.
Route 551 and
Smiles of Miles will time finish line and publish results.
Who: All Competitive and amateur Runners and walkers of all ages.
Rules: For the safety of all, please no pets, strollers, inline skates or headphones.
Cost: Early registration: $18:00 Guarantees T-shirt and Goodie bag. Cut-off date: May 17, 2008 Late registration: $20.00. Student fee: $15.00 (18 and under)
Course:
Packet pick-up: will be at Jack’s Independent Service, Inc. beginning at 7:00am.
Awards: Age group medals will be awarded for the top three male and female in each age group. 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70 plus
High School Teams: Each sports team with the best-combined time will win a trophy for their school. (i.e. basketball, cross country, football, soccer, volleyball).
Parking: Parking available at Kathy’s Country Kitchen and Jack’s Independent Service, Inc.
